This logo features a stylized crane (likely a Canada crane) and a black bear, both iconic animals in many Indigenous cultures.
The bear appears in black silhouette in the foreground, walking on dark ground. Behind it, a large yellow circle symbolizes the sun, with radiating lines representing sunrays. The crane descends from above with folded wings in a dynamic posture, seemingly interacting with or observing the bear.

The artistic style reflects traditional Indigenous design, using simple yet expressive lines and strong symbolism. The logo likely conveys harmony between species, nature, the cycle of life, and possibly a spiritual relationship between the animals.

We acknowledge that Notre-Dame Hospital (Hearst) operates on the traditional and ancestral territory of the Cree, Ojibway, and Oji-Cree people, signatories of Treaty no. 9. We thank Constance Lake First Nation who continue to live on these lands and care for them, along with the waters and all that is above and below. Notre-Dame Hospital Hearst is fully committed to engage in truth and reconciliation with indigenous communities of the region to being forth healing and fulfilment.

Our needs

Many of your hospital's critical medical equipment, systems, and software are reaching the end of their lifespan and need to be replaced or upgraded in departments such as radiology, obstetrics, laboratory, and operating room.

The Foundation exists to raise the funds necessary to continue providing high standards of medical care. This work is never finished, as we strive for the continual improvement of healthcare services in our regions.

50-50 Draw

Profits from the 50-50 draw are shared between the winner and our Foundation, which invests this money in the renewal and purchase of equipment or in infrastructure projects that improve healthcare for the residents of our communities. Drawings are held every two months and it is possible to subscribe to automatically participate in each draw. Click on the arrow to purchase your tickets or to subscribe.

Our Projects

Current projects include the purchase of a surgical C-arm and the renovation of the operating room. These initiatives will allow for more surgeries to be performed at Notre-Dame Hospital in Hearst, including knee replacements.
